Meet Ryan

Ryan Rivers is a proven leader with deep roots in Central Ohio and a strong record of delivering results in both the public and private sectors. A business owner, economic development professional, and former Orange Township Trustee, Ryan has dedicated his career to strengthening communities, growing jobs, and protecting taxpayers.

With firsthand knowledge of how local government works—from township halls to county offices—Ryan brings practical experience and a results-oriented approach. As a trustee and President of the Delaware County Township Association, he led efforts to cut red tape, support local businesses, and deliver fiscally responsible government. He’s played a key role in advancing infrastructure and economic development projects that bring together private investment and public benefit.

A proud America First conservative, Ryan is running for State Senate to put Ohio families first. His priorities include lowering property taxes, restoring educational excellence, and positioning Ohio as a national leader in manufacturing, innovation, and job creation.

Ryan lives in Delaware County with his wife and daughters and remains deeply involved in the community—from youth sports to public service. He believes Ohio has every tool we need to lead again—we just need the courage and conviction to do it.

19th District

Ohio’s 19th Senate District includes all of Delaware, Knox, Holmes, and Coshocton Counties, covering a diverse mix of fast-growing suburban communities and proud rural towns. From the vibrant neighborhoods of Lewis Center and Powell to the farmland and manufacturing centers in Coshocton and Holmes, the district represents the full strength of Ohio—hardworking families, small businesses, agricultural heritage, and emerging industries.

District 19 is one of the most economically and strategically important regions in the state. It’s home to some of Ohio’s highest-performing school districts, rapidly growing job corridors, and critical transportation routes. At the same time, rural parts of the district face real challenges—rising costs, healthcare access, and workforce shortages—that demand bold, local-first leadership.

Ryan Rivers is committed to representing every corner of this district—urban, suburban, and rural—because Ohio succeeds when every community has a voice and a future.
